STUDY ABROAD

Flexible academic sessions are offered throughout the year to students. Coursework integrates students within the vibrant culture and community of Florence through experiential learning delivered according to a unique educational model and learning methodologies.

4-YEAR BACHELOR'S DEGREES

BA degrees are offered in various disciplines at and feature a full breadth of gen ed, discipline-specific and capstone courses. Five distinct degree curricula are offered, and each curriculum features area-specific concentrations to select from.

AA/CERTIFICATE CAREER
PROGRAMS

Career Programs are designed specifically for undergrad, grad, and continuing ed students seeking career-focused studies for future professions.

4-YEAR BLPS
DUAL DEGREES

Dual bachelor's degree program offered by FUA-AUF and Fairfield University. Florence coursework with 1 or 2 semester exchange opportunity at Fairfield (CT).

GRADUATE
PROGRAMS

Graduate studies feature an international education certificate, experiential learning and customized programs.

ENRICHMENT
PROGRAMS

Non-credit programs, seminars and classes are open to all students or visitors in Florence for a specialized learning experience.

GAP YEAR PROGRAMS

Gap years at FUA-AUF go beyond the idea of taking a year off to do something new. Programs available for learners of all ages including high school grads, college students, and adult learners. A gap year can serve as a link, bridge, or transition, whether you are seeking future pathways or wish to develop a current interest into a viable next step.

PROFESSIONALIZING & EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

Experiential Learning for civic and professional engagement within the Florentine community and Italian culture can be integrated into regular session courses or created as internship, volunteer or community service experiences.

PRE-COLLEGE PROGRAMS

High school students desiring to experience a pre-college academic experience in Florence and receive credit can do so at FUA-AUF in a safe environment offering college-level courses and engaging cultural activities.
