Ganzo, FUA-AUF’s very own school restaurant, and Apicius, FUA-AUF’s hospitality management school, host many different events throughout the Fall semester sessions. On Wednesdays, Ganzo -located in via De’ Macci 85/r - puts on themed dinner events. This week, to kick off the III session, the themed dinner was also connected with an art exhibition.
On the 6th of November, the student restaurant held an event showcasing painter Antonia Comi’s work in The Oils of Influence. Antonia Comi, a portrait painter from northeast Italy, has an eclectic and personal style which is reflected in her portraits. Each paint stroke is very distinguishable as well as the different tints, it demonstrates an individualist approach to an art that has been around for centuries.
During the exhibition, students admired Comi’s work while Ganzo provided food for the guests. It is not too late to take in the beauty of the talented Antonia Como’s work as the exhibition will be available to the public at Ganzo until the 3rd of December.
