FUA-AUF is pleased to announce a new series of updates to their long-standing Health Sciences program, widening their educational offer to accommodate even more students interested in studying in the STEM and healthcare fields in Florence.
The newly expanded curriculum offers students the possibility to study Health Sciences abroad in Italy, which is consistently ranked one of the paramount healthcare providers in the world. As of 2022, the World Health Organization ranks Italy as the 2nd best healthcare system in the World. Florence, in particular, has one of its major hospitals, Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria Careggi, included in Newsweek's 2022 list of the World’s Best Hospitals.
The program will allow students to experience firsthand the Florentine healthcare system, and students will gain knowledge of the work conducted in local medical structures and interact with professionals. The program offers a wide variety of courses to accommodate any educational career the student is pursuing. Includes full clinical courses open to pre-med, health studies, social work, and nursing majors, allowing students to operate within a professional environment in their chosen field of study. FUA-AUF has established an ongoing collaboration with medical structures and associations of the highest order within the city of Florence to guarantee students an engaging hands-on learning environment.
