grad course FUA USF teaching strategies

FUA is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to participate in a 3-credit graduate-level course on Strategies for Effective Teaching in International Education.

The aim of the course is to better prepare individuals involved in higher education through effective strategies for delivering courses in multicultural contexts. In addition to content delivery, the areas of teaching related to field learning, experiential learning, and cultural integration inside and outside of the classroom will also be addressed.

Course scheduling will take place over an academic year starting from Fall 2016. Lessons are held approximately every other Friday from 3 to 530pm and will conclude at the end of the Spring 2017 semester. The biweekly schedule provides an advantageous lesson plan for professionals who may have diverse work commitments during the week.

Participants who have successfully completed coursework may request a transcript of graduate credit awarded by the University of South Florida. Please note that the transcript entails a supplementary cost to the course tuition.

Prerequisite: Bachelor's degree

Course dates: see course code LAIEET550 at the Fall 2016 course schedule.
