Florence University of the Arts was featured in “America Oggi,” the only Italian newspaper written and published in the United States.
"America Oggi" was founded in 1988 by 23 former employees of the Progresso Italoamericano newspaper. The paper has grown over the last decades to offer Italian Americans and Italians based in the US a complete, current, and reliable news source.
Gabriella Ganugi, president of FUA, was interviewed by journalist Piero Piccardi at the beginning of September. President Ganugi explains the importance of Experiential Learning, the variety of courses offered at Florence University of the Arts, and the importance of helping students adapt to life Florence. She also discusses the international focus of FUA that also maintains a strong connection to Italian and Florentine culture, the dedicated 24/7 services provided to students to support their academic experience in Florence as well as FUA’s yearly collaboration with the James Beard Foundation in New York City.
