At the Fall 2019 institutional staff retreat, a new tradition was inaugurated: the “Segno di FUA-AUF Institutional Impact Awards.”
The award is an opportunity for institution leadership and colleagues to recognize and thank outstanding employees. Candidates who have a minimum of 2-year experience at the institution are selected based on how their commitment to FUA-AUF’s mission has impacted the university in a positive way such as improving student services, contributing innovative ideas to academic affairs, implementing efficient interdepartmental collaborations, or establishing projects for overall institutional growth. FUA-AUF’s President Gabriella Ganugi personally introduced the event recognizing each one of this year's winners:
- Marco Di Manno, member of the institution scientific committee, for his contribution to the development and organization of the FUA-AUF biannual conferences.
- Mattia Delle Piane, Career Center/Alumni Coordinator, for his involvement in FUA-AUF representation in partner relations abroad.
- Valentina Monacò, Executive Assistant to the President, for her long-term commitment and contributions to the institution since its inception.
- Chiara Clemente, Coordinator of Special Programs, for her tireless efforts in efficient programming and operational improvement in the special programs area.
